The mission of the Ol Canii Community Garden is to foster community by cultivating a peaceful and joyous place to serve everyone. We are dedicated to providing a safe space for community members to gather, regardless of their race, age, religion, educational background, class, disability and access needs, or any other marginalized status. Discriminatory language and behavior is not acceptable. As a community, we will hold each other accountable.

Kevin Lebo is our Head Gardener

Isaak and Kelvin work with Kevin as Assistant Gardeners

Members are drawn from the community’s most vulnerable households: families experiencing intergenerational extreme poverty, households affected by HIV, orphans, single-parent families, elderly residents, and survivors of sexual violence.

Members' children recieve school sponsorship and the garden runs creative education programs during breaks to catch the kids up and keep them engaged.
